Sofware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications, ensuring robust and scalable backend solutions.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party APIs and AI services to enhance system functionality.
• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered features, utilizing AI agents for efficient code generation and reuse.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into seamless backend logic.
• Contribute to React-based projects by coordinating effectively with front-end teams and writing supporting backend code.
• Debug and resolve issues in existing projects, including bug fixing and performance optimization.
• Develop new modules and enhance existing features to meet client and project requirements.
• Review code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Plan and contribute to sprint meetings, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
• Oversee and assist with deployment processes, ensuring smooth delivery of projects.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1+ years of experience working with PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, Zend, or similar.
• Proficiency in PHP, ReactJS, jQuery, and experience with traditional databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant or similar.
• Demonstrable experience in integrating AI/ML models and services into web applications.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to generate and reuse code effectively.
• Skilled in API development and integration (e.g., Google Maps, payment gateways).
• Familiarity with open-source platforms like WordPress or Magento and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, etc.).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments, scripting languages, and CI/CD processes (Github preferred).
• Familiarity with Microservice architecture and working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, database design, and software development skills.
• Strong team player with good English communication skills
