Software Engineer (PHP)

Responsiblities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications, ensuring robust and scalable backend solutions.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance system functionality.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into seamless backend logic.
• Contribute to React-based projects by coordinating effectively with front-end teams and writing supporting backend code.
• Debug and resolve issues in existing projects, including bug fixing and performance optimization.
• Develop new modules and enhance existing features to meet client and project requirements.
• Review code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Plan and contribute to sprint meetings, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
• Oversee and assist with deployment processes, ensuring smooth delivery of projects.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2+ years of experience working with PHP frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, Zend, or similar.
• Proficiency in PHP, ReactJS, jQuery, and experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Skilled in API development and integration (e.g., Google Maps, payment gateways).
• Familiarity with open-source platforms like WordPress or Magento and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, etc.).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments, scripting languages, and CI/CD processes (GitLab preferred).
• Familiarity with Microservice architecture and working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, database design, and software development skills.
• Strong team player with good English communication skills.
